The Program seeks to highlight and educate the society on the need to embrace persons with disability. Also, the it aims to empower and encourage (PWDs) and urge them to pursue their dreams nonetheless.
We focus on making a positive impact in society through diversity and inclusion. We get to tell the stories of different persons living with disabilities as they tell us how they navigate through life.
BTL has also taken a turn into addressing mental health, Persons with Disabilities and caretakers of PWDs as well as those who are interested in inspiring stories or keen on contributing to creating an inclusive society
BTL (Beyond the Limit) is a show about disability and mental health. The host is Zainab Mohammed. The first 13 minutes’ focuses on a case study and the last 13 minutes is a panel discussion to give advice for the case study.
Treatment: the show is 26 min long. We tell stories of person with disabilities or persons living with and caring for persons with disabilities. We get to hear their stories as told by them. We then get professional advice by sitting with panelists who give advice for the case studies. We also do full episodes on topics of mental health where we sit with professionals to talk about the different mental disorders. We also visit institutions to tell on their journey of caring and helping persons with disabilities and their caregivers.
