Arsenal now have a commanding five-point lead in the English Premier League after securing another win 4-3 away in Kenilworth Road against Luton Town in the Monday night football.
Declan Rice scored a 97th minute header giving the Gunners the win.
However, the hosts twice fought back and threatened to win when Elijah Adebayo and Ross Barkley scored eight minutes after the break, with Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya culpable for both goals.
Luton went toe to toe with the league leaders in the early stages. Still, the Gunners pounced after Thomas Kaminski had to kick the ball out of play following a poor back pass, Bukayo Saka teeing up Gabriel Martinelli for the 20th-minute opener to undo all the home side’s good early work.
Rice is the third different Arsenal player to score two 90th-minute winning goals in a single Premier League campaign, after Ian Wright (1993/94 and 1995-96) and Nicklas Bendtner (2009/10).
Mikel Arteta’s boys will be back for some Premier League action on Saturday when they take on Aston Villa at Villa Park before we wrap up the Champions League group stage with a trip to PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday, December 12.
