Two car dealers who went missing in Kiambu on Friday 4th of December after they met with clients to sell a car have been rescued today.
The kidnappers posed as clients wanting to buy a Land Cruiser Prado before they began their hidden mission.
Kennedy Gitau the owner of the car, and Brian Karanja, the broker faced it rough as their business did not go as planned.
The thugs tied them up in the car and drove them around town demanding ransom from their families.
On Saturday evening, the car crashed as they escaped an Uber driver they had hit in Juja before speeding off.
Despite the men firing gunshots in the air to scare him away, he persisted as he knew that the car was the one posted on social media as stolen.
He heard someone screaming for help and looking closely was a bald man in a white vest.
The Uber driver followed them closely and forced them to run in the roadside barriers in Kahawa Wendani area.
After the accident, two men and a lady armed with guns came out stole a motorbike from one of the riders and took off with it.
People who witnessed the accident tried to block them saying someone has been tied up. But they once again shot in the air three times and everyone surrounding the scene ran for their lives.
As of now the two have been rescued and the car is at Ruiru police station.
One lady and two gentlemen have been arrested and one gun recovered. The case has been handed to the DCI who are investigating on the matter.
