Mathira Member of Parliament Eric Wamumbi and Murang’a Woman Rep Betty Maina tied the note on Saturday in a colourful traditional ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by the Head of State, Dr Ruto, DP Rigathi Gachagua, MPs and other dignitaries.
From the pictures shared online, a good time was had undoubtedly.
The two first met during the 2022 general election campaigns. Both were campaigning in the same camp, Kenya Kwanza.
“God gave me Betty, this girl is fine, she has all I would look for in a woman, at home she is a wife, my best friend, my prayer partner, mother to our children, and the one I have chosen to grow old with,” MP Eric Wamumbi once said.
