Kanye West, the artist known for his unexpected twists, has once again sent shockwaves through the media with a revelation that he’s autistic and not bipolar, as previously diagnosed.

The rapper, notorious for his roller-coaster of life events, shared this startling news through a series of text messages to none other than Tech Mogul Elon Musk.

In 2018, Kanye disclosed his bipolar diagnosis, but he later declared that he had been “mentally misdiagnosed.”

Now, in a bid to set the record straight, he asked his friend Ian Connor to post screenshots of his messages to Elon Musk on Instagram.

These messages reveal a glimpse into his complex world, where he’s not only grappling with his mental health but also navigating a complicated relationship with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

The texts convey a sense of urgency, with Kanye saying, “You owe me nothing. You never have to speak to me again.

But if we do speak, the nature of the relationship has to change. I’m not bipolar.”

“I have signs of autism from my (2002) car accident.” This car accident is a reference to the incident that led to his hit song “Through the Wire,” where he rapped with his jaw wired shut after surgery.

Kanye had tweeted in 2022 about being “mentally misdiagnosed” and claimed he was nearly “drugged out of his mind” to maintain a well-behaved celebrity persona. Now, he’s putting his side of the story out there.

In these messages, he also addressed his children, expressing his frustration at not being able to see them and mentioning Kim Kardashian.

Additionally, Kanye brought up Elon Musk’s platform, X, and voiced his disappointment at being referred to as a “friend” merely for promotional purposes.

Kanye’s stylist friend, Ian, was entrusted with the responsibility of sharing these text messages with the public after Kanye faced a ban from X due to previous controversial statements.

This disclosure raises questions about the rapper’s motivations and the impact of his words on his family and career.

It’s yet another chapter in the unpredictable and fascinating life of Kanye West.
