Nonini apologises for campaigning for the Kenya Kwanza government

Kenyan musician based in the States Nonini came out to apologise to Kenyans for supporting and endorsing the Kenya Kwanza government.

In a social media post, the Keroro hitmaker said that he has now realised he was wrong.

“Looking back at how our country is going a year down the line with this government, I want to share my apology loudly to Kenyans,” Nonini said in hindsight.

“I want to apologise for supporting this government and some leaders you know I did.”

I’m ready to be insulted- Nonini

He said that some leaders have failed Kenyans terribly adding that he was prepared to be insulted for supporting the government.

“It takes a strong person to admit they were wrong and niko ready for any matusi hapo kwa comments but at least niko bold enough ku admit mambo Kenya sio poa.”

“Some of our leaders have failed us terribly. Poleni sana Wakenya wenzangu,” concluded Nonini.

This comes amidst revelations by some leaders in government that times are about to get tougher despite being elected on the promise that the cost of living would go down.

Moses Kuria on fuel prices getting higher

Trade cabinet secretary Moses Kuria blamed the recent increase in fuel prices to worldwide crude prices.

“Global crude prices are on an upward trajectory,” wrote Kuria on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

He advised Kenyans to plan for tough times ahead further revealing that the prices will increase by KSh 10 monthly till February.

“For planning purposes expect prices to go up by KSh 10 every month till February.”

Fuel prices increase

Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) announced new fuel prices on Thursday night.

The new prices are set to take effect on Friday all through until October 15th.

Super Petrol prices have now increased by KSh.16.96 whereas diesel has increased by KSh.21.32,

Kerosene has risen the highest by KSh.33.13 per litre.
