Songstress Nyota Ndogo has updated her followers on Instagram with a photo of her sporting a very visible baby bump.
Unlike a year or so ago, this is not a prank. A year ago Nyota Ndogo almost lost her marriage to her mzungu husband Nielsen.

Consequently, she had decided to play an April Fool’s Day prank on her husband
The prank was on a lie that she was expecting. It however did not go well after her husband found out it was a lie.
Nevertheless, her husband ghosted her for a while as he calmed down from the lie before getting back together.
The Mombasa-based artist smiles in the photographs holding her baby bump in a jungle green Chiffon dress.
-Nyota Ndogo’s 8-year marriage-
However, Nyota Ndogo and her Mzungu husband Nielsen have been married for eight years. Consequently, this will be their first child together.
In addition to the bun in the over, Nyota Ndogo has two kids from her previous relationship.
However, Nielsen has three children of his own and with the one coming they will have six children in total.
In an earlier interview, she revealed that her mzungu husband had undergone a vasectomy to avoid having children.
-Plans before pregnancy-
Nielsen had shared with Nyota that he wanted to retire and travel the world and not babysit.
Nonetheless, Nyota has shared that if it was up to her, she would give birth every year, according to a previous interview.
The coastal songstress received congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities alike. Such celebrities include singer Wahu Kagwi.

Wahu went on to comment on Nyota Ndogo’s post on Instagram congratulating her for the coming addition to the family.
Wahu shared ululations in her congratulatory message on Nyota Ndogo’s post to celebrate the good news.
Miss Kagwi had also been in Nyota Ndogo’s shoes having just had a baby with her artist husband Nameless.
Wahu and Nyota Ndogo are some of the Kenyan female artists having babies in their early forties.
